Why do they even call it the little blue cow?? It's a white cow with a blue leaf... shouldn't the leaf be red anyway?

After the guy in the tutu showed up at the synchronized diving competition, the synchronized swimming commercial doesn't quite work, either.

I totally agree, the cow is WHITE, the comercials are idiotic & offensive as are most of the Olympic comercials CBC is running, air Canada should be ashamed, bankrupt & putting on those AWFUL comercials too, I'm embarrassed!

I've been watching CBC along with the awful NBC coverage. The CBC commercials are considerably better than NBC, but the little blue cow disturbs me.

I love the little blue cow... i think there good commercials, funny and in general i love the olypics commercials cause there not all about sex like almost everything you see these days ... way too go little blue cow !!!

We have been increasingly disturbed by this stupid, inane commercial. As many before us have pointed out, the cow is white, not blue. We won't get into that stupidity, but, when we see a cow ( need we say that cows are female) and just feel her participating in male events stupid. We just find the commercials embarrasing, and wish the creature would just go away and stop embarrasing all Canadians.

We love the Little Blue Cow; in fact our daughter is the little blue cow (or at least the cow is animated over her body movements). The commercials are supposed to be light-hearted. We know a number of athletes that contributed to the filming of the Little Blue Cow and other Olympic commercials. Why - because it is a way for people to take notice of their sport; and because the athletes get paid to do them. Believe me, with the cost of high performance sport training, commercial work is good money. For those who don't like the commercials, I am sure that many of the athletes would be happy for you to make personal (large) donations to help support their training. Go Little Blue Cow!!!!

the person who came up with a white cow with a blue leaf which we all know is the symbol of nothing. i'm sure this symbol has made the cows in canada proud to be a cow, but as a canadian and proud of our flag as a representation of the country, any wild animal that is where a RED MAPLE LEAF would be a better olympic symbol then a cow from no where. So if your selling milk in canada it stands to reason bongo the monkey could put together the red leaf on the cow.

Do we really need advertising to buy milk? I mean the most thought I have to put into milk purchasing is should it be White milk or Chocolate milk. Buttermilk or Skim milk, homo or 2% or 1%. I have never thought milk came from a Little Blue Cow but then again I never thought Easter Eggs came from a Rabbit. Maybe future ads will feature The Little Blue Cow embracing The Little Blue Cookie in Synchronized Snacking...

The Little Blue Cow is the reason I watch the Canadian channel. He plays beach volleyball, weight lifting, syncronized swimming and running at the track. After the little blue cow wins at the track he parades around with the Canadian flag. This is a true Canadian athlete who brings home the gold. I love you Little Blue Cow.

Whew! Reality check... I thought I was the only one freaked out by the Blue Cow. I just saw it on CBC tonight and had to search the net to see what everyone else thought about that freaky cow.

The best Olympic commercial is for the "product" that allows you to pause and restart live television. The atheletes sitting around the pool, playing cards with boxing gloves.

Ahh yes.. NBC's coverage sucks ass compared to CBC. I just wish Canada spent more on their atheletes then these stupid commercials.

I feel that the Little Blue Cow should get an honorary 'Gold Medal' at least just for trying.

On a lark I looked up pics to send my Husband on the Little Blue Cow. We've seen the commercials up the ying yang, and thought we were the clever ones to come up with "at least someone is winning medals for Canada".

I found this site and had a great laugh - not only do we have too much time on our hands to contemplate a cartoon/commercial (and clearly I have too much time since I'm writing this), but it shows me that although Canada doesn't have the greatest athletes, we're a country with a great sense of humour. I can't imagine anyone from Germany or China embracing or bashing a cartoon icon like we have (nothing against those countries)....kudos to the Dairy board - the cow may not get us drinking more milk, but it's some of the best and quickest branding I've ever seen.

Some commercials can actually make me want to go and eat and or drink what they are advertising...Thats what advertisements are for! When it comes to the milk commercial,with The Little Blue Cow, of course... i am at complete and utter confusion... By the end of the commercial, i dont even want milk. Cookies and Milk doesn't even appeal to me. I'm just so confused as to;
a) why they're advertising a white cow, calling it blue.
b)Wondering, when athletes get thirsty...Do they drink milk to quench their thirst? (personally...i've always found, when thirsty and drank milk, i get the pasties...)
c) Why the little blue cow looks so constapated doing his "mooves"...

Basically i walk away sad, that even cookies and milk won't even appeal in the least.

Not only are they lame, Tim Hortons is owned by Wendys now which is a american company. yes I am, however those ads were written and produced by an American company. And didn't Molson's just merge (taken over by) Coors of Colorado (that's in the US for you Newfies!!)

I hate that "blue" cow. It participates in Men's weight lifting, Women's synchronized swimming, Men's Track and Women's beach volleyball. That make no sense at all. Plus the commercial basically says that a stupid cow is better than are Olympic Atheletes.

The McDonalds commercial pisses me off too. They claim that the are helping our Atheletes by sending McDonalds employees to Athens. First of all why would our Atheletes eat that crap and second of all why would Yao Ming (chinese) be in a commercial which is pro Canada? PLus I think the clown is retarted because he bascially syas eat McDonalds and you can get to the Olympics when if you eat too much you will die. That saying "There's a little McDonald's in everyone" is true because if you eat there the food can never be fully digested and ther for stays in you forever.

The Timmy's are not that bad just annoying but there not on all the time so it's ok.

Air Canada commercial's make me wanna never watch T.V. again. They are very stupid and display negative stereotypes

I can't get enough of this Little Blue Cow. The weightlifting commercial throws me into a fit of laughter, even after I've seen it for the 15th time. Slam him or her (?) as much as you want, but this little piece of beef was one of the highlights of the Olympics for me!!!!!!!!

The Little Blue Cow is very annoying! But not as annoying as "Toffee" in those Tim Horton's commercials.

We don't need to spend more money on our athletes, because we did very well at the games! We won more medals per capita than the Americans, so I don't know what everyone's complaining about. There's much more important things for the government to be worried about in this country than whether or not we win a certain number of medals at the Olympics. All it does is boost our ego and it serves no long-term benefit to Canadians.

Why does it matter if the Little Blue cow is male or female, or if it it blue are white, or who the cow was made by. We shouldn't discriminate against the cow because of its colour or gender. We should just be proud that the little blue cow is canadian and represents our country well!!!

I think the little blue cow should come out of the kitchen as a big blue steak, but not before being tested for big growth hormones and steroids. Did you see it's eyes? That cow was in a constant state of 'roid rage! While we're at it, was there anything more creepy than Ronald McDonald? Olympic clowns are the scariest.
